Installation

Stable release

To install UltraNest, run this command in your terminal:

$ pip install ultranest

This is the preferred method to install UltraNest, as it will always install the most recent stable release.

If you get this error:

ModuleNotFoundError: No module named ‘Cython’

run:

$ pip install cython
$ pip install ultranest

If you don’t have pip installed, this Python installation guide can guide you through the process.

If you use conda, you can install UltraNest with:

$ conda install --channel conda-forge ultranest

From sources

The sources for UltraNest can be downloaded from the Github repo.

You can either clone the public repository:

Or download the tarball:

$ curl -OJL https://github.com/JohannesBuchner/ultranest/tarball/master

Once you have a copy of the source, you can install it with:

$ python setup.py install
